“Hi, I’m Aki!” I’ve been learning German for a week.
My class is partly composed of Syrian refugees. We learn together, we laugh, we make jokes and talk about our different cultures.
But there is a thought that is haunting me: “What did they go through before they arrived here?” … What are their stories?
