Même si je m’en plaignais beaucoup à Melbourne, j’ai réalisé à quel point le casque est important quand on fait du vélo tous les jours (surtout après avoir eu moultes altercations avec des taxis, camions et autres véhicules à 4 roues…).
En Allemagne, on dirait que les gens adorent célébrer les produits de saison. J’ai déjà évoqué leur folie autour de l’asperge ou de la rhubarbe, la fraise arrive et ils ne manquent pas de nous le montrer en installant des petits stands en forme de fraise un peu partout et qui ne vendent et bien… que des fraises :)
D’ailleurs, la maison fraise à côté de chez moi a ouvert aujourd’hui, haha !

There is an awesome ice cream shop 5 minutes away from where I live. “ice cream to celebrate the end of a project, ice cream to get some motivation, ice cream to celebrate a new contract, ice cream… because it’s sunny!” I’ve almost tried all of their flavours…
I’m taking more time to read… “I want a washing machine, eeeerrrr…!”
But more than everything… I’m waiting for the strawberry house at the front of the supermarket to open! “Thousands of strawberries for meeee!”
Even if I complained about it when I was in Melbourne, I realized how important a helmet is when I use my bicycle everyday (especially after having a few arguments with taxi drivers, truck drivers and other 4 wheel vehicles…).
In Germany, it seems like people like to celebrate seasonal products. I’ve already talked about their passion about asparagus and rhubarb, now strawberries are coming and they installed small strawberry houses everywhere. And they sell strawberries only :)
By the way, the one close to my place opened today, haha!
