I (don’t) like (rainy) Paris in Summer #4
I was drawing a post to say that Paris is very cool in Summer when there is the Cinéma en plein air (outdoor cinema) etc. / Winter cardigan
But we had a bad weather all week.
So tonight is going to be Harry Potter party on tv.
I wanted to watch Taxi Driver on a large screen and see De Niro telling his famous sentence “You talkin’ to me !?”. Finally it’s raining. Non stop !
I’m ok if August will be canicular… I… I’m ready !

À noter que le feu d’artifice c’est demain (= le soir du 14 juillet) et non pas ce soir. Je vous mets ce post aujourd’hui pour vous laisser le temps de trouver l’endroit idéal ;)
Laissez tomber le haut de Montmartre, dans mon souvenir, il y a un p**** d’arbre juste devant la tour Eiffel.
Récemment, j’ai découvert la vue qu’offre le belvédère tout en haut du parc de Belleville, la vue sur Paris est magnifique.
Ensuite, si vous avez des amis qui habitent dans les derniers étages et qui ont une belle vue,  il est temps de leur rendre visite :D
Pour ma part, j’ai décidé que le 14 juillet sera aussi férié pour moi puisque de toutes façons, je n’ai plus de vrais jours de repos jusqu’à la rentrée…
Find a place where you can see the Eiffel tower for the 14th of July. (It’s in these situations you appreciate living in a flat at the top floor)
The fireworks is tomorrow (= July 14th at night), not tonight.

Forget Montmartre hills, I remember there is a f**** tree just in front of the Eiffel tower. I recently discovered the view from the belvedere of Belleville park. The view from there is amazing, we can see almost all Paris. Then, if you have friends who live in flats at the top floor with a great view, it’s time to visit them :D
For my part, I’ve decided that the 14th of July will also be holiday for me because I’m going not to have real holidays until September (and more…).

La piscine Joséphine Baker a la particularité d’être une piscine dans une péniche, elle-même dans la Seine. Quand on nage, on est au même niveau que la Seine, ça donne une sensation très étrange.
Le matin, c’est encore mieux car il n’y a pas grand monde. On se croirait presqu’en vacances !

I like going to Joséphine Baker swimming pool on mornings. When it’s sunny, the roof is open and you can tan in the water.
The Joséphine Baker swimming pool is special because it’s a pool in a barge in la Seine. When we swim into it, we’re on the same water level as la Seine, it’s a strange feeling.
On morning, it’s even better because there isn’t many people. We can feel as if we were on holidays !

Except for last year, I always go on holidays off season. So I really know how Summers in Paris are and I’m proud to say I love Paris in Summer ! Here starts the Summer chronicle of how much Paris is terrific in Summer. ;)
